Red/white male puppy

"Tug"

D.O.B. November 23, 2009

Tug is an active, playful Basenji puppy. He has been with me since birth and has been well socialized. Tug is house-trained but he can be noisy when crated. Being a puppy, he can be mischievious but as long as he is supervised he is non-destructive. He gets along well with my other dogs and would probably be ok in a home with another dog as long as it is not dominant. Tug would love a new owner who can take him for long walks and if you have an interest in lure coursing I think Tug would do very well. You can read more about Tug's parents and how he was raised here.

All of his vaccinations are complete and he is current on monthly heartworm preventative. Both of Tug's parents are DNA tested Fanconi clear.Tug is available as a pet and will be required to be neutered. Located near Atlanta, GA and I would prefer not to ship.

Adoption fee $300 plus neutering

If you think Tug may be a good match for your family, contact me at yodeldogs@aol.com and tell me a little bit about your family.

Young, adult red/white female

"Jozie"

D.O.B. February 23, 2007
OFA hips: BJ-2121G27F-VPI "good"
CERF: BJ-1604/2009
Fanconi DNA: clear
OFA patellas: normal

Jozie will be spayed prior to placement

Ah- choo!

Jozie is a pretty girl that I kept for showing and breeding. Unfortunately, she and another one of my females are no longer fond of one another and the tension has become highly stressful. Jozie is house-trained, crate-trained, and not prone to destructiveness. She is generally tolerant of strange dogs if they basically ignore her but she will snap if they ram up into her face. She has always been very gentle with my puppies. She has been raised with cats and if they run she will chase. If they just lay there she normally just ignores them.

Note: Jozie is overall a very good dog but she does have some special needs. She is distrustful of men and children. Any men in the household would have to have a great deal of patience and understanding while she gets to know them. No kids though. That would just be too much for her to handle. She can be a "nervous nelly" sometimes.

Due to the difficulty of finding just the right home for her I would prefer not ship.

Adoption fee $200 plus spay

If you think Jozie may be a good match for your family, contact me at yodeldogs@aol.com and tell me a little bit about your family.

I also have a couple of young male show prospects I may consider placing. I would be willing to place these boys in pet homes in the Atlanta area on the condition that I be allowed to show them.
